Nashville, Tennessee 🎵🇺🇸

Nashville, Tennessee is known as Music City around the world. I would recommend visiting if you are a musician or music lover. I loved every minute, there is music everywhere, even through street boxes. There are more genres then just country music, but rock and mashed up RnB too. I have never been to a city like Nashville.

I visited the Country Hall of Fame. A museum created for learning about the history and roots of country music, musicians who have received recognition for their work and artists costumes. For example, Shania Twain’s outfits, Taylor Swifts crystallised guitar, Johnny Cash’s guitar to Dolly Parton’s gown. The museum had a songwriters area and we were able to view original lyric drafts of hit songs. There are also other music museums dedicated to artists such as the Johnny Cash museum.

There was a music and beer festival happening just outside the museum which had a nice atmosphere. Walking around the city was the perfect way to absorb all the musical culture. I even found bike stands which were in the shape of a treble clef! I loved it in Nashville, it’s all about music. I definitely want to come back again.

We walked into some Honky Tonks which are bars with live country music. The musicians in the bars were fantastic.

We all went to Acme and Feed, which also broadcast live radio. I tried my first proper Tennessee ribs and watched live music from Truett.

We checked out the whole street and stopped in another place with a mix of country music and rock. Followed by another bar which had a gorgeous boyband playing covers of tracks such as Free Fallin’.
