The Grand Canyon is breathtaking! Most people have a vision in their mind of what the Grand Canyon would be like. When I got here, it was ten times better. We camped very close to the South Rim and had the opportunity to watch sunset. The colour in the sky gradually changed into a very deep orange. We camped for two nights and I loved sleeping outside. We had a campfire and made smors – delicious.

My friend Kelly and I did the Oonah trail which was really scenic and straightforward. We chose to start at midday when the sun shines it’s best heat and love. Our faces gleamed with delight by the beautiful natural surroundings. We saw horses they were gorgeous, but they pooped along the whole trail. I was frequently dodging poo. It made me laugh though – nature at it’s finest.

I absolutely loved the Grand Canyon, I took a moment of reflection which brought happy tears to my eyes; because I never thought I would be there. I am super grateful! Don’t be afraid to dream, you have nothing to lose!
